1. The store and these terms
This website is operated under the name Akerax and is powered by Shopify. Akerax is the retailer and seller for purchases made through this storefront. Shopify provides storefront, checkout, and related platform services; Shopify is not the seller of the products. These terms apply to site use and orders placed through the store. They operate alongside the linked Payment Information, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Legal Notice.
2. Eligibility and lawful use
You must be able to enter a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. Provide accurate account, billing, and delivery information. Use the site lawfully; do not interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, misuse forms, or attempt unauthorized access.
3. Product information
Product pages identify the item, selected SKU, price, images, dimensions, set contents, and other specifications when available. Review the selected item and measure your intended space before ordering. Screens and lighting may affect perceived color. Ask Akerax before ordering if a material product detail is not shown.
4. Prices, taxes, and total
Prices are shown in United States dollars unless checkout states otherwise. Applicable taxes, shipping, and the total due are displayed before you submit an order. Free Standard shipping with no order minimum is available to the 50 United States and DC. If an obvious listing or calculation error affects an order, Akerax will contact you and explain available options as permitted by law.
5. Orders and payment authorization
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected items at the checkout total. Order confirmation acknowledges receipt; acceptance is subject to payment authorization and order validation. Your payment provider may authorize or place a temporary hold for the amount due. A pending authorization is not necessarily a completed charge. If a payment is declined or appears duplicated, contact Akerax and your payment provider with the order details; do not send full card information. Akerax may cancel or hold an order when payment cannot be verified or fraud or security concerns require review, subject to applicable law.
6. Shipping and delays
Orders are generally processed within 1-2 business days; transit after dispatch is generally 2-4 business days, for estimated total delivery of 3-6 business days. Business days exclude United States federal holidays. Estimates are not guarantees. If we notify you of a delay and revised delivery date, you may accept the revised date or cancel for a prompt refund. See the Shipping Policy.
7. Cancellation, returns, and refunds
Contact Akerax promptly to request cancellation before dispatch. For eligible delivered items, request a return within 30 calendar days after delivery. Approved eligible returns receive a prepaid label; there is no restocking fee and no exchange program. Refunds for approved returns are initiated to the original payment method within 10 calendar days after receipt and inspection; a bank or provider may take additional time. 8. Retailer and manufacturer relationship
Akerax sells the products listed on this storefront as the retailer. Product manufacturers or suppliers may be separate businesses. Akerax does not claim to manufacture products unless a product listing specifically identifies it as the manufacturer. Shopify is the commerce platform provider and is not the retailer or seller for these orders.
9. Intellectual property
Site content and Akerax branding are owned by or licensed to their respective owners. You may use the site to shop and may not reproduce protected content without permission, except as allowed by law.
10. Third-party services
Shopify and other providers may supply hosting, checkout, payment, shipping, mapping, analytics, or other services. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply to those services. Akerax does not control services outside its reasonable control.
11. Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a consumer guarantee, statutory right, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law. No statement here requires you to give up a nonwaivable right.
12. Changes and severability
We may update these terms by posting a revised version with an updated date. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue to apply where lawful.
13. Governing law
Applicable law and forum are determined by the mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to your transaction and location. Nothing in these terms selects a jurisdiction to displace nonwaivable consumer protections.
