Cookies and similar technologies
Depending on the services enabled and your choices, the store may use necessary technologies for checkout, security, and core site functions; preference technologies to remember choices; analytics technologies to understand site use; and advertising technologies to measure or personalize marketing. Optional analytics or advertising services, including Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion measurement, remarketing, Enhanced Conversions, or personalized advertising, are used only if configured for this store. This policy does not itself obtain consent, and the absence or disabled state of a cookie banner does not establish that no tracking occurs. Use the Privacy Choices page where available to review or exercise choices.
Map services
The homepage and Contact page display an interactive map using Leaflet and OpenStreetMap map tiles. When either map loads or you interact with it, your browser connects directly to OpenStreetMap tile servers at tile.openstreetmap.org. OpenStreetMap may receive your IP address, browser and device information, the requested tile coordinates, referrer information, and request time. OpenStreetMap contributors and the OpenStreetMap Foundation provide the map data and tile service; their terms and privacy information apply to that connection. See OpenStreetMap copyright and attribution information.
State privacy rights and requests
Rights depend on your residence, the kind of information and processing involved, and whether the law applies to this business. Where applicable, rights may include access or confirmation, correction, deletion, a portable copy, and opting out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. You may submit a request through the Privacy Choices page or email support@akerax.com. Include the state in which you reside, the right you want to exercise, and an order number only if relevant. Do not send passwords, full payment card details, or government identification unless we explain a lawful and secure need.
Verification and authorized agents
We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and locate the relevant records, using the methods allowed by applicable law. If an authorized agent submits a request, we may verify the agent's authority and, where the law permits, ask you to confirm your identity or the agent's authorization directly. We will not require more information than is reasonably necessary for verification.
Response periods and appeals where state laws apply
These deadlines apply only when the relevant state law covers the business, consumer, and request. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, a business generally confirms receipt of a covered request within 10 business days and responds to covered access, correction, deletion, or knowledge requests within 45 calendar days. When reasonably necessary, the response period may be extended by up to 45 additional calendar days, with notice and reasons for the delay. Covered sale or sharing opt-out requests must be processed as soon as feasible and no later than 15 business days. If a California request is denied, we will explain the reason and any available next step in our response; you may submit a complaint to the California Privacy Protection Agency using its complaint form.
Under the Colorado Privacy Act, a covered request is generally answered within 45 days. When reasonably necessary, the period may be extended once by 45 additional days if we notify you within the initial period and explain the reason. If we decline to act, our response will explain how to appeal to us. To request review, reply to that response or email support@akerax.com with the subject "Privacy Request Appeal" and the decision reference. We generally respond to an appeal within 45 days; where reasonably necessary, that period may be extended by up to 60 additional days with notice and reasons. If an appeal is denied, you may report the issue through the Colorado Attorney General data privacy complaint page and its File a Complaint form; describe the issue, relevant dates and steps taken, and business details.
Under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, a covered request is generally answered within 45 days. When reasonably necessary, we may extend by 45 additional days if we notify you within the initial period and explain why. If we decline to act, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support@akerax.com with the subject "Privacy Request Appeal" and the reference number in our response. We will provide a written appeal decision within 60 days. If we deny the appeal, review the Connecticut Attorney General's CTDPA FAQ, then use the Attorney General complaint page, select its e-complaint form, and choose "Consumer Data Privacy" from the subject list. To appeal a denial to Akerax, use the channel and reference in our response, or email support@akerax.com with the subject "Privacy Request Appeal" and your decision reference. We will review it under the appeal right and deadline that apply to your request. For any other applicable state law, we will follow its governing response period, permitted extension and notice requirements, and review or appeal process, and will provide the appropriate instructions in our response.
